Once, when I was younger, cracking jokes actually got me free ice cream. I’m sure it was tough and like making a deal with the devil because I cracked on her pretty hard but I think she felt that she had no other choice. But that was back in elementary school and I’d probably hold out for something bigger now. I had been planning all year to wear one of my funny shirts for the yearbook. Guess who overheard my conversation about it and decided to copy my idea. He even started wearing funny t-shirts to school, and at first it annoyed me, but then I decided I liked that he did it because it provided me with recon. I now knew what he would probably be wearing in his yearbook photo, which gave me a better chance of topping him.


I had to go big. Not just funny, but offensive. Yes, I’m devious. Then when I was up for the picture I quickly pulled off the outer shirt which now exposed this hilarious offensive t-shirt. The problem was that my hair was now all messed up and would be for the rest of the day after having to pull the other shirt off and put it back on. That was something that I hadn’t thought of. Before I could get my other shirt on to cover up the offensive one a teacher saw me and I ended up getting sent home from school because of it. Yes! I didn’t want to go on through the day with my hair like that anyway!
