TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports that the two sides are still at an impasse as they try to come to terms on a new contract prior to Wednesdays NHL trade deadline. Dreger reports that it sounds like Phillips would prefer a two-year extension while the club would prefer just a one-year deal.
