SHIBERGHAN Cheap Travis Hamonic Jersey , Afghanistan, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Taliban militants overrun Kham Ab district in Afghanistan's northern Jawzjan province along the border with Turkmenistan on Monday, district governor Ahmad Khan said.


"Taliban militants overrun Kham Ab district in the wee hours of today and the district headquarters is in their control at the moment," Khan told Xinhua.


Without giving more details, the official said that the government forces had retreated.
