The Winnipeg Goldeyes werent able to counter a hot hitting St. Paul Saints team on Wednesday night. The Goldeyes (60-35) fell 14-7 to the Saints (48-46) in front of 5,888 fans at Midway Stadium. He went 2 2/3 innings, striking out two and didnt give up a run. Taylor Sewitt took the loss for the Goldeyes also in a relief position as he gave up two runs in 1 2/3 innings of work. The Goldeyes and Saints will play a rubber match as they wrap up their three game series on Thursday night at 7 p.m. The game will be the last ever Saints game at Midway Stadium.
