TOKYO -- Canadas first-round Davis Cup tennis tie will be played in Tokyo early next year. The Japan Tennis Federation has chosen Ariake Colosseum and an indoor hard court for its Jan. 31-Feb. 2 tie against Canada. The 8,000-seat venue also hosts an ATP Tour event in October. "For the first time in a couple of years we have to start the Davis Cup season on the road which is never easy," said Canadian Davis Cup team captain Martin Laurendeau.
