Poised and in control — even showing a little push back after a questionable hit on his run for a two-point conversion — I like this kid’s future, and you should too.Matthew ThomasIf Thomas hadn’t solidified his spot on the 53-man roster yet, which seemed clear before this game, he certainly did so after his strip-sack and near-TD return. The play showcased his tremendous athleticism and play-making ability — something this Steelers’ defense lacks. Thomas will play a role on the team this year.Tevin JonesJones might not have made the team with his performance, but he might have made the practice squad. Jones’ two — should have been three — touchdown catches showed some promise.Justin HunterWhen it comes to the Steelers’ WR depth, Hunter is a part of this group. Malik Golden’s knee injury personified just how fragile a player’s chances are, and he wasn’t the only player injured. It’s part of the game, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it.
