The man was arrested in the town of Xirvella in the region ofValencia in the east of Spain after failing to stop at a policecheckpoint at around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The driver apparentlyaccelerated through the checkpoint situated in one of Xirvella'smain squares, forcing officers to take evasive action.


The police immediately gave pursuit with the van, which wasstopped after a three-kilometer chase. Upon stop, the policediscovered the 482 kilos of cocaine, which had been hidden in 22different bags, some of which were described as ""wet and covered insand"".

NEW YORKWASHINGTON, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Americans, led by President Barack Obama, on Thursday commemorated 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11 Nike Air Max Plus TN Ultra Scarpe Tutte Bianche Scontate , 2001 attacks by observing moments of silence for thousands of innocent people killed that day at the World Trade Center of New York City, the Pentagon and a Pennsylvania field.


As an annual ritual, relatives began reciting names of the nearly 3,000 victims killed at a ceremony held Thursday morning in lower Manhattan, New York City.
